What Makes Our Food So Special For Dogs
Frequently asked questions
We recommend feeding adult dogs 3-5% of their weight. Puppies 5-12 months old or until fully grown should ideally be fed between 6-8% of their current weight. For a more accurate recommendation, you can use our Food Portion Calculator here.
Our portion recommendations are based on the formulation of our diets, however, you may find that adjustments to the portion may be made along the way based on your dog's breed, age, metabolism, size and activity level.
Yes, our meals are complete & balanced in accordance with AAFCO standards for dogs. Our vet-reviewed recipes are also suitable for growing puppies (above 5 months), pregnant and nursing dogs, adult maintenance, and seniors.
Keep the meals frozen at -18°C in their original packaging until you’re ready to feed. When it’s mealtime, simply thaw the trays in the chiller overnight. Once opened, transfer the portion you are not feeding into an airtight container and store in the chiller for up to 24 hours.
Since this is raw food, remember to wash your hands, utensils, and any surfaces with soap and water after handling. And one more thing—avoid refreezing portions that have already been thawed or left out.
Loose stools and/or mild diarrhoea may happen depending on how rapidly the dietary transition is made but this should not last longer than 2 days. A longer, more gradual transition period is highly recommended for if your dog has an extra sensitive stomach. After this initial period, you may start to notice positive changes in smell, shape and volume to your dog’s poop
